Meghan Markle was mercilessly savaged by a royal analyst who criticized her business endeavors and predicted her new podcast would fail.
The Duchess of Sussex has had a busy 2025 thus far, having made her grand return to social media, released her new lifestyle series With Love, Meghan on Netflix, launched her brand As Ever, and is now preparing to launch her new podcast show, Confessions of a Female Founder, which will premiere next month.
However, royal pundit Kevin O’Sullivan was less optimistic about Meghan’s current business effort, predicting that it will follow a similar pattern to her prior enterprises, which he described as “disastrous”.
He stated on TalkTV: “With Love, Meghan broke new ground in tedium. It revealed new depths of boredom. The problem with Meghan is that she has no concept how to entertain or be engaging. Every time she opens her mouth, you want to fall asleep; she’s that boring. It’s simply epic. That is why With Love, Meghan fails, since it is eight episodes of pure tedium.
And now she’s created a podcast series called Confessions of a Female Founder, which, honestly, does not travel well. Her earlier podcast with Spotify, Archetypes, was a fiasco due to its gloomy nature. Her new podcast is centered on the ridiculous claim that she is a successful company founder.
Her firms are a complete disaster.
So, if she is actually going to sit down with successful female company owners, I hope she pays listen and takes some advice so that she can launch her own business with less disaster.” We have contacted the Duchess of Sussex for comment.
Meanwhile, Meghan expressed her excitement to share her new podcast with her audience, stating that it will showcase “amazing women who have turned dreams into realities and scaled small ideas into massively successful businesses.” She found the procedure “absolutely eye-opening, inspiring…and fun”.
